I’ve had a couple of bad experiences in the poached egg department recently so I took a stab at Fiorentina’s on Angove Street in North Perth. Best known as a traditional Italian bakery, it’s a place where those calorie laden Cannoli call your name. I couldn’t believe there are so many places on Angove Street to choose from. It’s nice to see this part of the world flourishing with life so early in the morning.
I was not disappointed. The presentation was excellent; the toast (buttered generously) was crispy and easily sliced. The eggs were poached beautifully (although I would have preferred them a little more runny, but that’s just me). Service was fast and friendly and the coffee exactly how I like it. All that for $13. I will be sure to return soon. Just delicious.
